The on-site workshop in Lagos (10th – 25th April 2010) is open for students from TU Delft (Delft, Netherlands), UNIGE (Geneva, Switzerland), UCL (London, United Kingdom) and UNILAG (Lagos, Nigeria). You can read workshop concept, setup, program and costs in the presentation (pdf) of the info meeting of 24 November.
If you want to participate please send a visual motivation (1MB max) to info@urbandetectives.com .
For TU Delft students we also offer the mEYEsite*Lagos course, a Multimedia & Presentation Techniques program organized in collaboration with the Media Department (Faculty of Architecture, TU Delft):
Mapping and capturing spaces and activities is crucial during the CSI.Lagos. The mEYEsite*Lagos will help you to understand how best to use different Multimedia & Presentation Techniques. During the Pre Lagos (1st half of the semester) you will learn how to use these techniques. The on-site workshop In Lagos will act as a case study for the mEYEsite course. During the Post Lagos (2nd half of the semester) you will edit your research and turn it into an exhibition and small publication with assistance of the Media staff.
The mEYEsite*Lagos course is optional for participating TU Delft students. Students will receive 6 ECTS after successfully completing this course. Students can now enroll for this course via the TU Delft studyguide: studyguide.tudelft.nl . (note: the AR0230 course name in the studyguide is ‘mEYEsite*Delft’ but is also meant for mEYEsite*Lagos and will be 6 ECTS rather than the 5 ECTS still indicated).
